About

Hi, I'm Denys, and I make Nave.

I built it for myself. Then I thought it might be useful to other people too, so I sent it to a few friends. They said it was exactly what they needed. So I put it on the App Store.

I wrote a longer version, with the apps I used before Nave, here.

It's just me working on it. If something doesn't work, or you have an idea, email me at hello@navememory.com. I read everything myself, in English or Ukrainian.

Your notes

Notes are saved as plain Markdown files in your iCloud Drive, so you can open them without Nave. I don't keep your notes anywhere, and the app has no analytics and no ads.

For titles and summaries, Nave can use Apple Intelligence on your iPhone, your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Google key, or Nave's built-in AI. With the built-in option, the text goes through Nave's server to OpenAI or Anthropic. I don't save it, but they can keep it for up to 30 days. The details are on the privacy page.

Price

Nave is free, with no account. The built-in AI is free up to a limit. If you need more, Nave Pro lifts it, monthly or yearly. When you reach a limit, notes still save, and you can switch to your own key or to Apple Intelligence. It's all on the pricing page.
